From the artist’s comments:
A) The John screenshot I used as ref.
B) The matching Sherlock screenshot.
C) Traced, glued, drilled, cut. TAH DAH! (They’re insanely fun to play with, it’s like those shape-fitting wooden blocks I had as a toddler ONLY BETTER xD)
D) I cut out the John silhouette myself, but I had help with Sherlock
E) I had originally wanted to use the wooden shapes to make cookie cutters… but we bought the wrong type of metal and it was way too thick to work with. I compromised and just pressed the dough into the negatives
F) The cookies baked! Oh my gosh, the smell at this point was heavenly…
G-H) Lookie here! Sherlock and John as sugar cookies!

01:59:15 ability to induce an apparently mortal paralysis.
(“Sherlock Holmes,” starring Robert Downey Jr., 2009) (So, not original to BBC Sherlock…)
Reblogging for anyone who was confused about how the rhododendron ponticum mention in Reichenbach was a Ritchie!Holmes reference.
